My story
Education is the foundation of every successful community & Calling Education is helping to build that foundation where it’s needed most. I feel incredibly privileged to play a small part in raising funds for such a worthy cause, while also taking part in one of the most enjoyable events on the calendar. This will be my 4th Calling Cape Town event, and somehow it keeps getting better every year. Whether it's the challenge, the camaraderie, or just look on peoples faces when they hear what we're doing before & after Cape Town Cycle Tour! Thank you for supporting this amazing cause and helping us create opportunities through education. Every contribution makes a difference. 📚🚴♂️🏃♂️😊 #virriekinners

Calling Cape Town was started by passionate South Africans set on tackling one of the country’s biggest challenges - giving the majority of its children access to quality education.
Every athlete and volunteer takes on the challenge to raise funds for Calling Education, which has proven that you can run an independent high school delivering top-quality education for around R8,000 a year - from 60 learners in 2018 to more than 700 across three campuses today.
