Fundraising for Calling Cape Town Challenge 2027

About Jalani Coetzee

Hi! I’m Jalani — an ordinary girl who somehow fell in love with doing extraordinary (and slightly crazy) things. 🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️ Next year I’m taking on Calling Cape Town SOLO: an 8 km swim, 109 km cycle and 50 km run over the 3 Peaks. This challenge is about pushing my limits while raising funds for a cause that helps give children better opportunities through education. Every donation, big or small, means the world to me and helps me get one step closer to the finish line. One swim. One bike. Three peaks. One crazy adventure. Let’s do this!

    The Cause

We don't race for medals. We race so a generation of South African children can learn.

Calling Cape Town was started by passionate South Africans set on tackling one of the country’s biggest challenges - giving the majority of its children access to quality education.

Every athlete and volunteer takes on the challenge to raise funds for Calling Education, which has proven that you can run an independent high school delivering top-quality education for around R8,000 a year - from 60 learners in 2018 to more than 700 across three campuses today.
