Fundraising for Calling Cape Town Challenge 2027
About Kyle Lotter
I'm a biokineticist from Bloemfontein, South Africa, with a passion for endurance sports and adventure. Trail running has always been my first love. I love the mountains, challenging terrain, and the physical and mental demands of endurance racing. My passion for pushing my limits has also drawn me towards extreme triathlons. Last year, I completed the Knysna Extreme Triathlon, an experience that only strengthened my love for these types of challenges. For me, it's not just about finishing times or results, but about the adventure, the unpredictable conditions, and seeing how far I can push myself. Calling Cape Town feels like the perfect next challenge, and I'm excited about the opportunity to take it on!

Calling Cape Town was started by passionate South Africans set on tackling one of the country’s biggest challenges - giving the majority of its children access to quality education.
Every athlete and volunteer takes on the challenge to raise funds for Calling Education, which has proven that you can run an independent high school delivering top-quality education for around R8,000 a year - from 60 learners in 2018 to more than 700 across three campuses today.
